Council elections: Moments of indecision
It seems that city of Middleton District 7 alderman Dan Ramsey has not made up his mind yet either about whether or not he is going to run for re-election. Like his fellow councilors Kathy Olson (District 1) and Katy Nelson (District 3) who are also up for re-election this coming spring, he did not commit one way or another and replied to my inquiry by saying that he would "be deciding soon".
Development: Suburban sprawl with good intentions
On November 22, the Middleton Plan Commission got a look at the proposed redevelopment by Middleton-based High Road Development Company (Chad Wuebben) of the 128-acre former Acker farm property, located across from Pheasant Branch Conservancy between Pheasant Branch Road and High Road. The development, tentatively named 'Redtail Ridge', will take place over several phases (see map, with staff comment).
