City committees: Public comments and the open meetings law
Hundreds of people visited the third annual Middleton Book Fair, which took place at the Terrace Avenue Pavilion at Capital Brewery last Saturday, August 12. About twenty vendors were present, including several authors who promoted their works, a book publisher, and The Book Deal, a Madison used-book store that is currently in the process of moving from the Beltline to a new location at 3822 Mineral Point Road (they will reopen as soon as they have disentangled themselves successfully from all the red tape the City of Madison's bureaucracy has got them wrapped up in). Meanwhile, the Middleton Book Fair will be back for a fourth edition, bigger and better, on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
