On Saturday, September 30, the Friends of Pheasant Branch celebrated the twentieth anniversary of the dedication and seeding of the Dorothy Shannon Prairie, which turned the remnants of a corn field into an ecologically valuable prairie. Dorothy Shannon was a Middleton resident and co-founder of the Friends of Pheasant Branch. A video of the 2003 dedication ceremony can be found following this link:
