Middleton City Council: Three members derail the Comprehensive Plan
At its November 21 meeting, the Middleton Common Council managed to tie itself in knots over the Comprehensive Plan's second amendment to the point where even City Attorney Larry Bechler wasn't sure how to proceed. Because of NIMBY concerns over a soccer field on Allen Boulevard and the inexperience of some of its members, the Council failed to pass the ordinance that would have amended the Comprehensive Plan.
