On Thursday, February 8, the candidates for Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District Board of Education will be participating in a public forum at the Middleton Public Library hosted by this newsletter. The event runs from 18:00 until 19:30, and there will be time for questions from people in the audience. Seven candidates are running for three seats, including two open ones. One seat in Cross Plains is uncontested, with incumbent Bob Green running for reelection unopposed. One Middleton seat has two candidates running (Bartlett Durand and Dan Osborne), while the second Middleton seat has four candidates who will first face each other in a primary on February 20 (David Bell, Nate Day, Katie Frank and Lauren Rogers).
